Espero que nuestros hijos puedan recordar a sus padres
y no las guerras que nos rodean.
Y que nos puedan perdonar por las faltas que tenemos.
Aunque sea por fuerza de otro,
por situación económica,
o por otras cosas de la vida que nos separan.
Pero así es el destino.
Uno nunca sabe cuándo va a estar junto.
Y uno nunca sabe cuándo va a estar separado.
Ahora que he recordado a mi madre,
sé que tengo una vida
muy importante para vivir.
Y ahora que ella está descansando en paz,
yo estoy viviendo en paz por fin.

I hope our children can
remember their parents
and not the wars
that surround us.
That they can forgive our faults
even though they be caused
by force of another,
by economic situation,
or other things of life
that separate us.
But that's destiny.
Never knowing
when we'll be together.
Never knowing
when we'll be apart.
Now that I have
remembered my mother,
I know I have a very
important life to live.
And now that she
is resting in peace,
I am living in peace, finally.
